Hope you all had a great weekend. I can not hold my excitement to share the experience I had last weekend with y’all. Well I was invited by Anj Kreations, a luxury designer wear brand, to Citadel Mr and Miss Pune 2017 Event held at Sheraton Grand Hotel in Pune. The star studded event had all the 14 contestants (7 males and 7 females) wearing designer pieces by Anj Kreations. The contestants showcased wedding festive collection by Anj.

Anj Kreations is owned by a very gorgeous Anjoo Karanjia who is not only making the mark in the field of fashion designing but owns a very renowned salon in Mumbai named A’KREATIONS Hair & Beyond. As told by a spokesperson from Anj, Ms Anjoo Karanjia is not just a fashion designer, she is more of a lifestyle designer. She likes to make people look good, wear beautiful clothes and groom them inside out. Her creation is an amalgamation of modesty and style. She is an avid traveler and she likes to meet new people and witness different cultures which inspires her to create traditional yet modern designer pieces. Comfort and practicality are her inspirations. You will always find that much needed quirkiness in her sartorial. A label that’s solely catered to today’s generation.

Let’s have a look at the beautiful attires these contestants wore:

This one’s my favorite piece from her collection that night. Though the entire saree is of single maroon color, the minimal work with one shoulder blouse is making it stand out and giving it a desirable modern look. A subtle make up with a perfect hair do is completing the look perfectly.

Loving how beautifully the hand embroidery is done on the black front open sherwani. To add the spark to the look, a contrast of maroon is given, making it super stylish.

OMG, don’t you feel this look is to die for? The shirt kind cropped silk blouse is complementing the skirt cum saree so wonderfully. Loving the color contrast here. A pearl necklace is doing complete justice to the look, what do you feel guys about this look?

Wow, such an amazing combination of Indian and Western look. The side zipped blazer looks so charismatic on the traditional outfit.

How about adding some fun to the look. I mean just look at this piece, what a great way of tying the saree and wearing a pair of shorts beneath giving it such trendy look.

I am swooning over the pastel shades this season. How stylish yet simple this designer wear is. The color combination is outstanding. From a casual to semi-formal occasion, this piece will serve it all.

Did you notice? In order to match the embroidery in the saree, the contestant is wearing a heavy pearl necklace. A pearl necklace gels so well with a navy blue saree. White and blue is evergreen.

Well I am completely speechless about this look. The dust pink silk vest is looking fabulous on a white shirt and a trouser. Even the contestant feels so happy to sport this look.

Ever imagined styling a saree with a corset belt? You got the tips here peeps. What a fabulous way of showcasing modernity. I simply love this style. I am definitely trying something similar.

Simplicity is the word. A simple prince collar jacket on a kurta and pyajama is adding so much style to the plain look. One who does not like to experiment much should definitely go for this one.

What do I say about this look? The belt style front and tassels at the rim of the saree are making it uber trendy. Where not do we see tassels these day? From garments to accessories to jewelries, it’s everywhere. How can we ever miss out on that. Love this indo-western look totally.

Is it the designer piece or the contestant we should be looking at? Haha..did you see that cut in the kurta making it low high pattern attire? Love the edge it’s giving to the complete look. Needless to say, the color combination is so young and fresh.

Such a great unconventional look this one is. A simple bordered saree on a skinny fit trouser is so appealing. No more trouble walking around in a saree. Be bold, be stylish, be confident.

This one’s highly recommended to a tall guy. Just look at the feel of that light blonde knee length front open sherwani. Wanna be a killer, wear this!

Wow, what a beauty this evening gown is. So simple and stylish. That detail on the waist makes it so unique. Love the color and the fall of this number. The contestant carries it with great panache. No wonder, she won Miss Pune 2017 title. Give it up for Ms Priya Singh.

A pure gentleman number. The contestant looks all dapper in this stylish yet sophisticated suit. Thumbs up for this one.

Has satin ever looked this beautiful before? I doubt! This tube dress is entirely made of satin. What makes it stand out is it’s front slit and the way the contestant is sporting it.

Well, the bow says it all. Not to ignore the right attitude that contestant wears here is doing the complete justice to this stylishly designed suit. I love the neck pattern of the vest.

Ruffles are so trending this season. From tops to dresses to skirts to designer wear now, every kind of clothing is boasting of it with pride. It looks like a ruffle side slit dress is wrapped around a mid thigh length bodycon dress. Such a a great idea and style.

This checkered suit with satin collar looks so classy. Planning to get hitched guys? Do get one such designer wear.

The teal hue adds such a charm to the dress. This one’s my next fave. I am drooling over this half net look in the front. It’s so amazingly stylish that I have already decided to get something like this done for myself. This dress again gives a feel of long wrap skirt with front slit. I can’t get over the creativity of Anj Kreations.

Giving a tad of retro look, so dapper and stylish. Completely suits the personality of the contestant wearing this.

Another satin beauty with skinny trouser and half gown dress. This one shoulder dress with paper satin look can steal any heart. Don’t you feel the same? I so heart the look.

OMG, Aren’t we done yet? Have you ever imagined a blazer in three different colors with such amazing patches. This is beyond my imagination. It stands out even more with a high neck tee worn inside. The blazer speaks volumes. Such a style statement!

My favorite contestant swooned me completely over in this designer wear. Look at the spark she throws with her eyes. This light grey gown with an embellished corset belt like finish at the waist is a perfect dress for any fashionista. I loved the way she walked in it. What a grace!

What a beautiful choice of grey and blue. Moreover such a great look with a side shawl matching with the trouser. Love the feel of velvet blazer as well. How about you guys?

My third fave dress among all. I love the combination of light and dark grey in this dress. Did you notice the full length sleeve on one hand and the other hand is left sleeveless. Style is to die for. I could not get my eyes off this one. Elegance personified!

A burgundy colored suit on a white high neck tee is another level of creativity. Such a great look on such a heartthrob contestant. Isn’t he cute? Well, he won Mr Pune 2017 title. A big Congratulations to Mr. Rahul Sonawane.

And no, I can never miss out on these two. The two most beautiful and dashing hosts of the event. Not completely visible, but their attires have too been designed by Anj Kreations. They look so stunning in these numbers.

AND here I am with a great designer, Ms Anjoo Karanjia, the creator of an amazing clothing line. I love the way she designs Indo -Western pieces. They do justice to our Indian culture plus adds the desired charm of modernity as well at the same time. Her creation is class apart. She has mostly used trendy neutral colors that are more desired by today’s generation. Whether it’s chiffon, Georgette, satin brasso, net or any other fabric, they have played around with hand embroideries sequins, cut work and thread work of contrasting shades to augment the modern look for both men and women. The work is COMMENDABLE!!

I feel so privileged to have been invited to this prestigious event and so fortunate to witness such great creativity by a great designer. I have always had a great liking towards clothes. Nothing makes me happier but to be surrounded by beautiful designer pieces. Will bring to you some beautiful indo – western designer wear from my closet soon loves.
