When In Doubt, Wing It Out!
Don’t you too believe in this saying? For a fashion enthusiast, it’s very important to master the art of make-up (at least the basic). Irrespective of how great we have a sartorial sense, we need to compliment the same with the right amount of make-up. Well perfecting in make-up is a challenge in itself. Right from creating the base to donning the eyes and finishing the lips, it takes a great talent. Even if you are not an expert in the same, you can still learn the basic and get yourself going. Eventually you will learn more than what you know today. There are various stages to attaining a perfect look. My main concerns while getting ready are highlighting my eyes and lips. For getting the right eye make-up, an EyeLiner plays the most important role.
When talking about eyeliner, even a single thin stroke can work wonders. What I love the most about it is that there is no rule to it. You can create any shape and look you want. Whether or not you apply anything else, an eyeliner single-handedly can make your eyes stand out and get heads turned. Although, a perfect eye make-up is a team work of primer, eye shadows, eye liner, mascara and kajal.
There are three types of eyeliners we must get our hands on…
Gel Eyeliner:
Plus- These liners are creamy based, comes in a small pot with an angled brush for the application. It might seem intimidating at once but once you have a hang of it, it comes out to be really smooth and gives a clean, precise line.
Minus- They dry out real soon and you will always have to clean the brush to avoid any sort of eye infection.
Liquid Eyeliner:
Plus- It’s either like a marker pen with a pointed tip or with an embedded pointed brush like a nail paint, very helpful for the starters. Just make the dots and connect and fill them to your choice of shape, easy as that. For an extreme preciseness, the pen works the BEST, for you have a better hold over a pen than a brush.
Minus- Liquid consistency tends to get messy (be careful with that)
Pencil Eyeliner:
Plus- Anyone did not fall for smokey eyes here? Well, you get that smoke on your eyes with a pencil eyeliner. Pretty simple to use it. Make the lines one above the other and smudge it. For darker eyes, fill in your upper and lower waterlines. There you go!! For an everyday light eye make, you know what you need to pick now.
Minus- Like a normal pencil, you need to sharpen it every now and then. Also everytime it’s newly sharpened, it’s way too pointy. So to get the right point is tad a task. I am sure you will get used to it.
How do you prefer buying cosmetics? Do you personally prefer to go and try the products out and then take a decision or you trust your instincts and believe in Online Shopping? Well for me it works both ways. Some cosmetics like kajal, eye liners, etc can confidently be bought online while some such as lipsticks, foundations, etc. must be better bought in person unless you have tested and tried the product already. However it solely depends on the individual as to how she prefers to shop. For those who do love to shop online can definitely agree to the fact that it saves our precious time. What can be better that getting all our trusted brands under one roof?
So girls, it’s time to indulge in some serious shopping and wing wing. Try out some cool fun eyes with these three amazing eyeliners and rock the look. Have a great make-up, great day and…
