Good Morning peeps!!
Hope y’all are through Monday blues and geared up for the rest of the week. I am starting my Tuesday with a new post, my first ever in denim. Where to start from….ummmm…well I have been very very unlucky when it comes to owning a dream denim. I don’t even remember how many I’ve bought till date but I do remember how many I actually wore (it’s hardly two or three). Yes, that’s true. Being so particular about the fit, I can’t settle for unless it’s PERFectly fitting me. My struggle in finding the RIGHT FITTED denim is actually never ending and it eventually led me to look for other clothing items but denim lately. Hence, I have been donning everything except for denims. Buuuhhtt “never give up” is something I strongly believe in. This Fall, I made it a point that I am definitely gonna buy one cool denim. And to my surprise, during one random evening in my two days trip to Delhi, I happened to come across this super chic brand called Cover Story and I literally could not get my eyes off their stuff.
So ignoring all the ultra cool stuff that the brand had, I straight went up to their denims stack and guess what?? I bought this grey distressed denim from the store. Oh wait, let me tell you another story. Now my darling hubby, for some reason, does not like distressed clothing and it’s engraved in my mind that I don’t have to buy anything distressed. But fortunately I tried this one and he happened to like it. Perhaps, because it’s quite subtle, for the color and distressed pattern, both (I am guessing so). I am elated that I own one I am proud of the fit and the look. Pairing this denim here with a loose fitted cropped sweatshirt from Rosegal. Since Fall is here, sweatshirts also have to be here. I am loving how the duo is complementing each other. Completing the look in my fave Zara grey suede pumps and giving the contrast to the whole grey touch with a pair of shaded pink tassel earrings. Loving this cute tote bag from Dresslily again in grey color. What has attracted me the most to it is its cute patch work, all girly stuff.
I am sure some of you can relate to my denim story and hoping you all will love the look as much as I loved creating it. Looking forward to your views on the same.
