How’s everyone there? Over here, it’s too hot. Pune is super hot, you know, HAWT HAWT! No, I mean it. It’s hot both the ways. Hahaha…Ok let me get to the topic now. You know how summers are, right? Looking at the sun, all we want is to slip into the easiest and brezziest of the dresses and wear matte nudish to almost no make-up. The lighter the shade of the dress, the cooler we feel. Today’s post is about the color yellow which is a must have color in your summer wardrobe.
Yellow, for me, is a happy color and it brings life. Everything in this color seems to look alive. It’s bright, bold and fresh and makes a statement. Wearing a yellow off shoulder shift dress with floral embroidery in the front and the sleeves. I am a sucker for shift dresses especially when summer arrives. This dress is not just pretty cool to be worn in summers but also making a statement with it’s stylish fluffy sleeves. The floral embroidery looks like a detailed carving on the dress making it look colorful and summery. The dress was a must buy for me…

Here’s a thing with me. Whenever I see a dress, any dress for that matter, the entire look of how the dress should be carried immediately pops up in my mind. The moment I saw this dress, I wanted to get a braid updo done. All thanks to the MUA, Maria, who just does whatever I want in a single go. I so love this hair style she did on me. It was just a random picture that I showed her saying can you make this? and she just did it. I am in love with this look. Summer calls for some nice braid hair dos and when its done nicely, nothing like it. After all it’s hot too much already. Get a nice messy updos this summer girls and get yourself a chic yellow piece, if you don’t have one yet. Talking about summers, we surely do not want to dive into heavy make-up unless it’s a cocktail party. I am donning a complete matte make-up with green eyes and nude lips. Played a bit with light shades of green shadows and kept the make-up minimal. A perfect make-up for summers. Don’t get loaded with too much. Being less is more! Completing the look with fringe stud earrings in bold red color. Hope you like my first summer look. I would love to hear your views on the dress, hair do and make-up.
